About the event

About this event

Are you a dream chaser, magic maker, artist, writer or musician who wants to feed your creative spark or try something new? This magical boost of creative courage will leave you feeling inspired to create in a way that feels so YOU, you’ll wonder why you ever doubted yourself.

Together with Aldingbourne Country Centre, we have co-created a rustic wellbeing recipe to ignite your artistic muse and creative imaginings under the perfect celestial alignment when the moon is at her fullest.

Your Wisdom Guides

Your creative wisdom day will be facilitated by two highly experienced space-holders and dream weaving creatives. Joanne Farley-Webb is a Royal Academy of Arts award-winning artist and founder of The Peaceful Paintbrush and Helen Grace MacGregor, is an acclaimed published author, creator of The Magical Process and founder of grace.space.soul.

They will be walking alongside you as your guides and medicine women.

Rural Reflection & Connection

Located on the beautiful South Downs we offer you an enchanting, sacred, safe space so that you can take significant, soulful steps towards creating whatever calls you or alternatively, simply soak up the vibes of the forest, wildlife and daydream under the sky.

Do what calls you the most…

After a meet and greet and welcoming beverage we will take you to a beautiful hand-painted Moroccan yurt where you can immerse yourself in meditation, intention setting and gratitude. As your day unfolds and you honour your creative desires, your inner artist will begin to flow. We have weaved together flora and fauna, ancient wisdom, access to animal teachers, meditation, Qoya, mystical woodland, creativity and more. We’ll be exploring simple but powerful ways to press pause, with each experience created in response to the seasons, stars and moon phase.

You are welcome to join us for one day, all weekend, or several weekends. This is your call from the universe. All you need to do is say YES.

Pack Your Favourite Art Supplies

You’ll need to pack your writing journals, sketchbooks, that unfinished book, bright colourful paints that make your heart sing, a canvas or two, a few brushes and any other art materials you feel may be suitable.

Your Support Changes Lives

20% of proceeds will support The Aldingbourne Trust. Each ticket supports the incredible work that Aldingbourne is doing through your investment in yourself, so that others get to do more of what feels good to them at Aldingbourne too.

Your poetic desire to inspire, your yearning for learning and your deep call to create is ancient and can be wonderful medicine. Creativity can reduce stress, aid healing and quieten the mind. When you gift yourself time to tune into creativity in a mindful, permission-rich way, you’ll be astonished and delighted by the boost in your intuitive capacity, energy and joy.

We also hope that the beautiful venue will provide a plethora of creative stimuli. Botanical inspiration and natural forms will help you to feel rooted so your creative ideas can flourish.

We want to be there with you when you feel this magic.

Walk alongside us…

If the last three years have shown us anything, it’s to seize the day and stop pushing our desires aside until someday when…

Say a wholehearted yes to this invitation to honour your creative gifts, nurture your idea seeds and embrace the opportunity to do things differently. Through celebration, connection and an embodied approach that truly resonates with your soul.

Deep within your heart sits a steadily burning flame.

A flame that yearns to burn brightly,

for you to LAUGH more,

PLAY more,

GIVE more,

LIVE more,

LOVE more,

CREATE and SERVE more.

What would it take for you to really honour this faithful flame? To allow your inner spark of creativity to shine? To let your flame burn so brightly that you glow with joy and delight from within? Life is too short to settle.

You came here to be who you really are…

A Creative Prompt

Gently quieten your internal noise under the 700-year-old oak tree and take a moment to get out of your head space, reconnect with your heart, gaze at the clouds and hear the wind talk. Feeling the deep inner contentment of landing back home in yourself, sigh with contentment as you watch the sun dance on wandering azure blue peacocks. As your creative muse calls from within, maybe write a poem, paint a watercolour or pen a song.

Picasso once said “'Art washes away from the soul the dust of everyday life’’

When we keep our creative well replenished and approach art making as a useful medicine, we can integrate the inner stillness it creates as teaching we can embody in our daily lives.

This is a judgment-free space. There will be no art share or critiques of work produced during the experience. Creative intimacy is important to us, so we will honour your confidence and protect your personal stories, giving you the courage to come as you are and the freedom to show up as you.

You'll head home from the experience feeling inspired, rejuvenated, energised, connected and radiantly alive.

So, are you ready to weave creative magic into your life in the way that most excites and delights you?

Are you ready to feel liberated, make lifelong memories and discover simple techniques you can use to create with more courage and less doubt.

‘‘I found myself in a beautiful space of connection and held in the gentle energy of our workshop guide and the wonderful invitation of gentle creative guidance if needed. The workshop was inspiring and beautiful. It was a blissful way to explore and try out something. It has evoked a sense of exploring ‘my way’ of intuitive painting further, and awakening new layers of colour to my life, and adding new layers of discovery and connection to myself’’

“You have a lovely way about you Helen & I know that I can completely trust you. You exude calmness & tranquillity and create a wonderful place where I feel completely safe to be open and vulnerable. What also helped was telling me that you were once where I was, so you’re familiar with the path I wanted to take. You have wonderful intuition and honoured what I said and where I was.”

Lesley Pyne, Author and Coach.
